"Went here for an office lunch break with the team. This outlet is rather hidden in a corner of galleria Lafayette’s many floors, and its quite small. However, that doesnt stop it from delivering quality sushi. We had the AYCE deal at 128k pre tax price. Was really blown away by the fact that the quality of food remained exceptional. Although the AYCE menu was predominantly made up of rice-based dishes, they were all varied and really enjoyable to explore. The salmon nigiris were definitely the highlight of the show. Be sure to order in advance tho, the prep time may be decently long. The gunkans and handroll were exceptional too, they’re definitely generous with their topping.. each bite just bursts with flavour, the melty creamy texture from each piece of sushi, were immaculate. Good Job Genki. Hope they could improve on their sushi rice tho, as its definitely their weak point as compared to other sushi joints around in Indo. Could learn more from their Japan branch, uobei dougenzaka (which i reviewed previously too, check it out). Overall good job, Genki Sushi Indonesia!"

"They have been for a while in Jakarta, but I still appreciate the automated tray concept from their Japan restaurants. Sushi is just average, but even an average sushi is still a good treat, and this is still a good place to have sushi. Service that I received on my few visits were nice and I have no complaints. However it still feels a little bit weird for me as this is supposed to be a budget sushi place in Japan, but eating here I could spend the same amount as in other much nicer sushi restaurant.."

"It's a good spot for nice and quick lunch with a couple if friends. Sushi is ok. I suggest for you to skip the sashimi coz it's slightly better than convenience store sashimi. Order something cooked. Their Creme brulè is awesome."
